Things such as digging footings and foundations to architects' plans, or just for the less confident client who would prefer not to use our self-drive solutions.
We would also suggest using our digger with driver hire services if you have very limited access to your property. This is because gaining access through very small gaps can be quite a challenge. We have micro diggers than can access anything from 710mm wide, which allows you to access via a standard doorway. I’m sure you can imagine, this doesn’t leave much room for error. As you can see from the video on this page, our expert drivers can get through the smallest of places. Only an experienced excavator driver can do this without damaging the surrounding and the excavator.
If you have quite a large excavation project, using a skilled driver can actually save you money. That’s because an experienced operator will get the task done in a fraction of the time of an unexperienced excavator operator.
Some projects also require careful planning and experience can pay dividends here. Without careful planning it is possible to dig yourself into a hole, we have had self-drive customers call us to come and dig them out.
